Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and implementing testing strategies, creating test plans, and executing test cases.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for our software products
• Conduct manual and automated testing of software products
• Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects
• Participate in the design and implementation of testing methodologies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the software product are tested thoroughly
• Document and report test results and defects
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

Requirements

• Not mandatory but Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C#.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
