Job Details

We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be required to create/update/maintain multipurpose websites. You will also be required to work on PHP-related projects as and when needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing website’s architecture as well as building new features and functionalities.
  • Building and implementing new themes and plugins.
  • Building the website front-end and conducting website performance tests.
  • Analyzing website performance and troubleshooting errors.
  • Handling the backend of the website, including database and server integration.
  • Ensuring high-performance and managing all the technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Maintain well-documented and reusable code.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent subject
  • Bachelor's degree in other subject with good level of expertise may also apply.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience working as a WordPress developer.
  • At least some experience of working in PHP (Laravel preferred) projects.
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum .
  • Familiarity with versioning tools.
  • Experience working with debugging tools.
  • Ability to handle and manage projects.

Additional Requirements

  • Training/guiding other team members.
  • Ability to handle deployment on server.
  • Familiarity of using AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Experience in WordPress Themes & Plugins.
  • Experience in building both front-end and back-end of the website.
  • Excellent and written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English.
  • Good understanding of Web architecture.

The interview process we follow:

Step 1 - Coding Round: 

In this round, we will judge your data structure, problem-solving, and computer fundamentals knowledge.

Step 2 - Platform and System Design Round:

In this round, you will exhibit your platform-specific and system-design skills.

Step 3 - Behavioral and Leadership Round:

This is the most important round in our interview process. You will be judged on how you interact with your team members, conflicts, and unwanted situations if arise.
